Day Care center
The concept idea for the construction of the Seedorf - Dunningen daycare center consists of framing the site and creating the largest possible open space for the daycare center. This leads to a two-story, angular structure that is positioned in the northeast area of the property. The main entrance to the building is located on Freudenstädter Straße, set back somewhat to create a calm forecourt zone.
The layout of the room program is divided into the entrance floor with the 3-group crèche and the central rooms at the entrance. Directly adjacent to the foyer, the linkable area of multi-purpose room 1 and foyer offers a beautiful space with direct access to the garden. Events from the cultural life of Seedorf can also be held here. In the eastern wing of the building, the crèche is planned, which can be functionally separated from the daycare center.
The spacious single-flight staircase in the entrance area leads to the upper floor level with the six daycare center groups. The groups feature direct access to the escape balcony in front, which serves both as structural wood protection for the facade, but also prevents the overheating of the group rooms in summer. The eastern corner of the building is assigned a service room brace, which accommodates staff rooms and ancillary functions of the project. The dirt sluice is located on the ground floor of the building.
